Bring on the Non-Alcoholic Drinks Brunch
A non-alcoholic drinks brunch, that’s what we need. Of course, you need to host a gathering with your friends on a Sunday morning, but none of you wants to be the one pouring beer into people at 9.00 am.
I might even say alcohol-free beer is a step to the far.
Then consider this post. No brunch experience is necessary. But you may have to have an alcohol-free open mind.
Brunch is one of my favourite meals.
It is a very social affair that gives people a chance to come together and enjoy food with others in their communities. I remember those who cannot drink alcohol without drinking themselves to death by drinking only non-alcoholic drinks during brunch.
Anyway, it is poison after all, right?
I just don’t feel like drinking so much at 10 am. I understand. It can lead to misery. But, before we lump everyone into the same category, let’s recognize that some people cannot drink alcohol for various reasons.
An alcohol-fueled brunch can be an unneeded distraction and pressure point.
It doesn’t make sense that if anyone can have a glass of champagne, everyone should be able to.
As part of this rule, I remind myself what could happen if I took a different path in life.
Or you may not fancy it or be driving later that day. But, hey, it is only an alcohol-free drink after all!!
What Is Brunch?
Brunch is an informal meal eaten after a late night out (or simply after sleeping in). It is composed of an alcoholic beverage (Champagne or Bloody Mary) and a continental-style breakfast (croissants, muffins, scrambled eggs.
In Europe, brunch can also mean simply eating breakfast out.
In the UK, it can mean a big fry up!
Bacon, eggs, sausages.
One of the most hotly debated questions among brunch-goers is whether or not to drink with their eggs Benedict.
Most assume it’s just a boozy brunch that gets you drunk and out of your mind in the morning, but there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy without getting buzzed.
Tonic water is an easy substitute for soda or juice.
You can add a lime wedge to give it a little extra kick.
Make your tonic water by adding bitters to club soda or seltzer water at home. Of course, coffee is always a great option, whether decaf or regular coffee.
Make sure that you get some cream and sugar to add in so that you don’t have to order a sweetened drink if you don’t want one. If coffee isn’t your thing, try a hot cup of tea instead.
You can order different kinds of herbal tea from the menu or ask for a cup of hot water at the table and brew your tea bag at home.

A non-alcoholic drinks brunch Brunch is a favourite of mine; it’s an excuse to get out of bed and have breakfast with friends and family.
It’s often the first meal of the day that I consume while intoxicated, which can be dangerous if you’re the type of person to go overboard or not know your limit.
I like my brunch with a touch of danger though, one without alcohol would just seem wrong.
But I can’t drink alcohol, so what are my options.
If you’re like me, I’ve gathered some great ideas for brunch drinks that won’t hinder your ability to drive home but will help you relax and enjoy yourself.
There is a world outside alcohol for brunch.
There are many different options for brunch drinks. Here are some of my favourites: Coffee – Delicious hot or iced with cream and sugar, coffee is about as versatile as you can get for a drink.
My personal favourite is iced coffee with a touch of caramel syrup or vanilla.
Try Lyres Alcohol-Free Coffee Liqueur. It’s perfect. You can just tell people that it is a full-blown Irish coffee.
My second option would be a delicious latte made with extra foam. Chuck a shot of alcohol-free spirit from Caleno Spirits into the mix.
Coconut water: This is by far my favourite drink for brunch because it tastes like tropical islands and summer all wrapped into one! Coconut water is naturally sweet and comes in various flavours, such as pineapple and orange mango.
I prefer it straight from the coconut, but in the city centre of the UK, they can be hard to find, right?
A non-alcoholic drink brunch is often the first meal of the day, but alcohol can slip, which can be dangerous if you’re the type of person to go overboard or not know your limit.

Your guests can drink as many of these delicious drinks as they want and still drive home safely. Try out a new mocktail recipe with friends and family, without the worry of how you’ll get home afterwards.
My favourite non-alcoholic drink is a simple mocktail with sparkling water, fresh fruit juice and fresh mint leaves.
- All it takes to make this tasty beverage is some ice, mint leaves from your garden, fresh fruit (peaches or strawberries work well) and sparkling water or club soda. This delicious mocktail is the perfect way to start any party!
- Place about 10 pieces of ice into your blender to make this drink, followed by 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda.
- Next, add in 2 tablespoons of your favourite fruit juice. I prefer peach nectar, but you could use any flavour that you like.
- Add in three large mint leaves and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a decorative glass and garnish with a few small sprigs of mint leaves. Serve immediately!
When we say a non-alcoholic drink brunch, we don’t mean that you have to stick with boring sodas, sparkling water or juice. Instead, you can make some delicious mocktails.
A mocktail is a cocktail without alcohol, and it can be enjoyed at any time of the day. One of our favourite drinks is the Irish Alcohol-Free Liqueur Coffee which is made with coffee, sugar and hot milk.
It’s an excellent drink for your next brunch and will keep you warm when it’s cold outside. Another good one is the Non-Alcoholic Apple Cider Martini which uses apple cider instead of vodka and makes sure to enjoy it on a cold winter day.
Alcohol-Free Fizz for Brunch
Brunch is a popular meal in the United States, and it’s one where non-alcoholic drinks are served.
Many people want a mimosa or bloody mary at brunch, but some drink alcohol.
So it’s always nice to give them an alternative. In my opinion, an alcohol-free brunch mimosa is an excellent alternative. It has the fizz of champagne and the orange juice of a mimosa without any alcohol.
It’s called a “fizz” because it uses club soda instead of carbonated water.
- To make one, pour 3/4 cup club soda into each glass.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon orange extract to each glass.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then add 1/3 cup orange juice to each glass.
- Pour the remaining chilled alcohol-free sparkling wine into the glass and garnish with orange slices if desired.
The main ingredient in this recipe is sugar, so it’s not suitable for people with diabetes or people trying to avoid sugar for other reasons.
Still, it can be modified easily if needed.

It’s the weekend, which means that most of our weekends are consumed by endless brunch dates with friends and family.
